The Robert W. Jackson Endowment Fund

Our Endowment is over one million dollars and exists thanks to the faith and generosity of many. A healthy Endowment positions The Montessori School to sustain a level of financial strength and flexibility both currently and in the future. It is a cornerstone of our financial strength and long-term well being. Annual income from investment of our Endowment feeds our annual operating budget.  In addition, an ever-increasing corpus helps ensure the long-term financial viability of our school.

Named in memory of beloved Montessori teacher and philanthropist Bob Jackson, the long-term goal of Endowment is to support 10% of The Montessori School's annual operating budget. Endowment income directly supports areas that are vital to the health of our school: Program, Staffing, and Tuition Assistance to name a few. The investment of the Endowment Fund is overseen by an Investment Committee, a subcommittee of our school's Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees. The Endowment Fund is managed with a long-term goal of maintaining generational neutrality, thereby ensuring that current and future generations of students benefit equally from Endowment.

We welcome the opportunity to speak with those interested in making a contribution. Please click here to contact our Development Director for further information.
